Hancock Regional Hospital also recently became accredited by the Society of Chest Pain Centers. As an Accredited Chest Pain Center, we ensure that patients who come to our emergency department complaining of chest pain or discomfort are given the immediate treatments necessary to avoid as much heart damage as possible. Our cardiology team works seamlessly with community emergency medical services (EMS) and other departments so that patients get the right care during the critical early stages of a heart attack.
